This is a very nice article on your mandala process. I read it in the garden on my small iPhone and, since I don’t yet have this setup, I could easily see your guide helping someone proficient in another drawing tool to set this up…I’m planning to try setting up the grid in AI and then perhaps copy it over to Photoshop.

Interesting, I have an iPad retina and I haven’t yet taken it seriously as I keep having dismal results using an old paper 53 setup. I’m curious if you feel space constrained and/or have any opinion on if it’s a reasonable alternative to an iPad Pro (especially if you’re not able justify such an expenditure!)…any thoughts?
